摘　　要：贝林在《教育与美国社会的形成》中全面展示了教育在美国社会发展中与美国精神形成中的作用,为重新诊断美国教育史作用提供了崭新视角,为美国教育史研究新观念和新范式的引入奠定了坚实基础,更为19世纪末20世纪初的美国教育史研究超越"传统派"的偏狭,成功应对教育科学与测量运动、教师专业发展和教师教育的需求和挑战,实现教育史学科研究与其他学科的结合指明了方向。Education in the Forming of American Society,written by Bailyn,reveals the roles that education plays in the development of American society and the evolution of American spirit,which provides a new perspective for re-diagnosis of the American education history.Moreover,this introduces new perspectives and paradigms for the researches on the American education history.
