Cultural Memory as a New Perspective for Cultural Studies and Literary Studies:An Interview with Svend Erik Larsen

摘　　要：本文是作者对丹麦奥尔胡斯大学比较文学系荣休教授、四川大学长江学者讲座教授、欧洲科学院院士、欧洲科学院艺术与文学学部召集人、《世界文学》联合主编斯文德·艾瑞克·拉森先生的访谈。2015年6月23日,本文作者在清华大学对前来讲学的拉森教授进行了采访。访谈中,拉森教授阐释了文化传统与文化记忆之间的异同,认为从本质上讲,两者相辅相成、互为促进;分析了流散文学作品通过重构自身文化传统来重构文化记忆的问题;探讨了文化记忆与互文性的关系,认为文本之间的互文性是文化记忆的一种载体,文化记忆对文学经典具有塑造和改造的作用。Professor Svend Erik Larsen is emeritus professor of Comparative Literature at Aarhus University, Danmark, Yangtze River Chair Professor of Sichuan University, China, and member of Academia Europaea. On June 23, 2015, Yu Yanghuan of Tsinghua University interviewed Professor Larsen when the latter lectured at this university. This interview encapsulates Prof. Larsen＇s view on cultural memory, specifically his view on the reciprocal and mutually beneficial relationship between cultural memory and cultural tradition, the re-contextualization of cultural memory in migrant or diasporic literary works through re-contextualizing its own cultural tradition, the relationship between cultural memory and intertextuality, the latter being a medium of cultural memory among texts, and the influence of cultural memory on canonicity and the on- going formation of canonicity.
