指称理论在英语写作中的应用研究

摘　　要：以指称理论为分析框架,对中国非英语专业大学生英语六级作文中三大类指称的使用频率、典型错误及其与作文质量的相关性进行描述与分析。研究结果发现:指示指称在英语写作中出现的频率最高,其次是人称指称和比较指称;受试习惯使用第一、二人称,而不是第三人称来衔接句子;容易丢掉指示指称项目the,很少使用指示指称this和that,这些错误由母语迁移造成;指称项目的数目与写作质量没有相关性。It analyzed the frequency of three different reference types, typical errors and the correlation be- tween reference frequency and English writing quality within the analytic framework of reference theory in this paper. The findings are as follows：firstly, among the three types of reference items, demonstratives are the most frequently used, personals the medium and comparatives the least;secondly, the common refer- ence errors found in these essays which are caused by the impact of mother tongue are the overuse of the first and second person forms ,loss of the demonstratives of ＂the＂ ,and underuse of the demonstratives ＂ this＂ and ＂that＂ ;moreover,there is no apparent correlation between reference and English writing quality.
