On Literary Subjectivity: the Origin,Connotations and Debates

摘  要:文学主体性问题由刘再复率先提出和系统阐发,最初是受到高尔基"文学是人学"及康德主体性哲学的直接影响。刘再复提出文学主体性是为了使新的文学理论达到基于反映论和价值论为哲学基础的双向建构,把主体中属于人的东西重新呼唤出来,纠正那些挤塞作家心灵自由的神本主义和物本主义。文学主体性涉及的并不是某个具体的文学理论问题,而是文学理论领域的一般性问题或者说根本性问题,其实它就是一种文艺哲学。文学主体性讨论是新时期文学理论发展的一个重要关节,标志文艺学研究的重心从客体向主体转折,从"外"向"内"转折。文学主体性属于"需要修正的"、"未完成的"现代性范畴,回顾和反思这段讨论对于当下文学发展具有启示意义。Influenced by Gorky's "Literature is a science of human" and Kant's Philosophy of Subjectivity, literary subjectivity as a research question was fimt proposed and systematically analyzed by Liu Zaifu; it was intended to provide new literary theories with a philosophical basis, one that integrates the Theory of Reflection with Axiology, and to awaken the true humanness within the subjects, thus correcting such doctrines of deity and objects that block the free souls of writ- ers. Literary subjectivity is concerned not with certain specific literary theory, but with general or fundamental issues of the domain, so it is in fact a literary philosophy. It deals with a vital stage in the development of literary theories of the day, hallmarking that the gravity center of Literary Studies has shifted from objects to subjects and from "the outward" to "the inward". Furthermore, by revealing that literary subjectivity belongs to the modem category of "being revised" and "unfinished", the present study bears implications for the development of the New Period Literature.
