摘　　要：英语专业学生思辨能力的"缺席症"已成为英语教学中的主要问题。本文首先阐述了英语专业学生思辨能力缺失的主要要素,分析了TED演讲导入在学生思辨能力培养中的可行性,并结合教学实例指出以TED演讲作为教学导入有利于培养学生的分析、推理和评价等高层次思辨能力。The deficiency in critical thinking ability on the part of English majors has long been a deep concern in English teaching. This paper first discusses the main deficient critical thinking abilities of English majors. It then explores the possibility of integrating TED speeches into developing these abilities. It also shows how courses initiated by the TED speech can foster students＇ high-level critical thinking ability to analyze, rationalize and evaluate
