摘　　要：博尔赫斯《小径分岔的花园》这篇创作于第二次世界大战期间而以第一次世界大战为背景的小说,并非试图利用"时间"建立一种"宇宙主义"的图式,也并非一篇为艺术而艺术的作品,而是采用隐喻、反讽等一系列艺术手段,传达了作者对于当时社会历史的反思:一方面精炼地呈现了那段真实的历史,并探究了造成这种历史的政治、种族的原因;另一方面,又以对真实历史的呈现,讽刺、揭露和批判了某些脱离现实的文化史的虚假与悖谬。The Garden of Forking Paths by Jorge Luis Borges, a short story on the background of World War I and written during World War II was not trying to use time to establish a pattern of the theory of the universe, or just a detective story, but applied a series of artistic strategies like metaphor and irony to convey the author＇s reflection to social history： on the one hand it presented the real history of that time and explored the political causes of history;on the other hand it conveyed the satire and criticism about the hypocrisy and paradox of certain cultural history of the reality.
