摘  要:写作过程研究和写作结果研究构成写作研究的两个重要途径。随着计算机的普及和新软件的研发,特别是能够获取学习者写作过程中的各个细微行为的键盘日志和屏幕录像软件,写作过程研究受到被国内外研究者关注。本研究借助Inputlog和Range软件搜集并分析英语专业学习者和非英语专业学习者的写作过程中的停顿行为。结果显示,英语专业学习者的停顿时长和频率在单词和句子层面多显著超越非英语专业,段落层面没有明显差异。英语专业学习者写作中较非英语专业学习者更注重词汇多样性和词密度。然而与国外类似研究相比较,国内英语专业学习者还停留在低写作水平阶段,因此有必要采取相应地教学措施加强指导英语学习者科学规划写作过程,以切实提高学习者写作能力。Product analysis and process analysis are claimed as two vital approaches in writing research. Equipped with the advanced technology such as keystroke logging and screencap, the process approach is now gaining increasingly popularity. In this study, Inputlog and Range are employed to obtain the pause data from writing process of English learners and Non-English major learners from a local comprehensive university. The result shows that there is significant difference over pause duration and frequency of words and sentences, but not over paragraphs. Compared with Non-English major learners, English major learners have better vocabulary diversity and word density in their writings. At the same time, Chinese English learners are found to be lagging behind their their foreign counterparts in cognitive planning. Therefore, measures must be taken accordingly to improve their macro-planning skills scientifically in their writing process.
