摘　　要：本文主要围绕"八新"展开,通过阐述国家战略的新需求、新的国际格局、信息通讯技术的新进展、教育面临的新挑战、新的教育理念、新的教学质量标准、新的教学方法和英语教学面临的新常态,强调了英语教学必须与时俱进的重要性和必要性。The speaker talks about how the new domestic needs,international situation and ICT development are challenging English teaching,why new ideas,standards and methods shall be applied and what the new normal of English teaching is,and emphasizes the importance of keeping up with the times and teaching innovation.
