摘　　要：围绕Web GIS的学科背景、知识体系、社会需求和能力培养等,详细探讨在智慧城市和新型城镇化快速发展的地理信息新时代,面向卓越工程师的Web GIS应用实践型人才的教学培养。重点面向科学研究、技术应用和工程实践等开展具有针对性的能力培养,以提高当前地理信息科学专业Web GIS教学的质量,并探索Web GIS应用实践型人才培养的思路与实践。Rounding the network geographical information science discipline knowledge system, professional background, function and the cultivation of ability, this article discussed the geographical information science and its typical application of practice teaching for cultivate talents, focus on scientific research, technology application and the engineering practice and other aspects to carry out more targeted professional ability training, to improve the quality of education and teaching for network GIS professional students in the new era of geographic information in the rapid development of the Smart City. Finally, the paper discussed knowledge background of GIS application type, new method of personnel training and teaching practice, and the development trend and requirements of the current geographical information science teaching.
