摘　　要：专业学位研究生入学考试中的英语考试由原MBA高校联考演变而来。2009年以来,国家大力发展专业学位研究生教育,2010年实现第一次全国统考。本文通过分析几年来的统考试卷发现,该考试在对语言应用能力的考查上有别于学术型研究生的入学考试,而且其考查的形式和内容还需要进一步完善和提高。同时,专业学位研究生入学英语考试应该强调对英语综合应用能力的考查,尤其是要注重对实践能力和创新能力的考查。The Entrance English Examination for Postgraduates of Professional Degree originates from the examination for master of business administration（ MBA）. Since 2009,China has put much effort in developing postgraduate education of Professional Degree,and launched the Entrance English Examination for Postgraduates of Professional Degree in 2010. Through the analysis of test papers over the years,it is found that the test is different from the Entrance English Examination for Postgraduates of Academic Degree,and its content and testing format needs further improvement. The Entrance English Examination for Postgraduates of Professional Degree should focus on the testing of comprehensive language use ability,especially on practical and creative competence.
