摘 要:《大学英语教学指南》对阅读材料选取与批判性阅读思维培养等方面作了具体描述,并将跨文化交际能力培养列为大学英语课程的重要目标之一。"新目标大学英语系列教材"中的《阅读教程》与"跨文化交际英语"教程、"专门用途英语"教程借鉴了内容依托式教学法、任务型教学法、批判性阅读理论及跨文化交际理论等外语教学和阅读教材编写理论,构建了包含拓展阅读和主题阅读教程的教材体系,呈现了多功能、主题化的内容设置,加入了中国文化等元素,帮助学生提高跨文化交际能力。在选材上,阅读教材基于内容丰富选文,让学生获得多视角、多体裁的语言信息输入,提升语言综合应用能力。在阅读任务设计上,教材不仅注重学生的语言和阅读技能训练,而且突显学生的思辨能力培养。The newly drafted College English Curriculum Guide has elaborated requirements for reading material se- lection and critical thinking skills development, and has listed cultivation of intercultural communication competence as one of the major objectives of college English teaching. The New Target College English reading series was com- piled under the guidance of EFL teaching and textbook compiling theories such as Content-based Instruction, Task- based Language Teaching, Critical Reading and Intercultural Communication. The reading series comprises the ex- tended reading set and the themed reading set, which includes rich contents and themes characteristic of Chinese cul- ture to improve students' intercultural communication competence. The carefully selected texts are multi-dimensional in terms of subjects, writing perspectives, genres and styles, which help increase students' integrated language skills and content knowledge. Besides, the task design of the reading series not only aims at training students' language and reading skills, but also places special emphasis on developing their critical thinking skills.
