摘 要:现代汉语的虚词难教也难学。而在对外汉语语法教学上,虚词更是占据举足轻重的地位。外国学生病句的问题大部分出在虚词用法上,怎样有效地帮助他们掌握好虚词的用法,是对外汉语教师应该深入思考的问题。本文基于在日汉语教学课时有限、课程内容多、教材虚词不按难易顺序出现等虚词教学的困难,提出高效的虚词教学必须依靠虚词用法词典来辅助。同时从对外汉语教师的角度,对目前已出版的一些现代汉语虚词词典进行全面考察,指出现有词典的不足,希望学界能合力新编一本更适合对外汉语教师和外国学生的虚词词典。Function words are difficult both to teach and to learn, and they are a crucial part in CFL (Chinese as a foreign language) grammar teaching. Most erroneous sentences made by foreign students involve the use of function words How to effectively help students master the correct use of function words is one of the questions Chinese teachers need to take into deep consideration. In this article, the author first analyzes the difficulties in teaching function words, such as large amounts of content to be covered within limited class time and the non-graded instruction in terms of their degrees of difficulty, and then points out that with these difficulties existing, the teaching of function words must be aided by a function word dictionary. From the perspective of a CFL teacher, the author gives his comments on some of the published dictionaries of modem function words and expresses the hope that the CFL circles join efforts to compile a new function word dictionary which better suits CFL teachers and foreign students
