摘　　要：现代社会是信息化的社会,随着我国科学技术的不断发展以及信息技术的不断普及,在高校英语教学过程中运用现代信息技术,教学内容信息化,已经成为高校英语教师专业发展的大趋势。高校英语教学手段的现代化以及英语教学资源的信息网络化对高校英语教师专业发展有深远的意义。据此,围绕新的信息技术在高校英语教师专业发展中的应用和发展进行分析。Modern society is an information-based society,with the continuous development of China＇s science and technology and the expansion of information technology,using the modern information technology in the process of college English teaching,teaching content information,has become the trend of college English teachers＇ professional development.College English teaching method as well as the modernization of teaching resources of information network for college English teachers＇ professional development has a profound significance now.This article will revolve around the new information technology in the application and development of college English teache~＇ professional development is analyzed.
