摘　　要：翻转课堂是当今社会发展、网络信息技术进步和教学个性化追求等诸多因素相互作用的产物。翻转课堂为现代教学模式改革与创新提供了新的可能性,也为我们利用现代教育技术提高课堂教学质量提供了新的选择。在当前我国课堂教学改革出现"翻转"热潮之际,我们有必要对翻转课堂产生的社会背景、理论基础、精神意涵及其局限性等关键问题进行认真检讨与审思,以便准确把握翻转课堂的实质和要义,实现翻转课堂模式的科学借鉴和有效运用。＂Flipped Classroom＂ is a result of the interactions between various factors such as societal development, rapid development of modern information network technology, and increasing satisfaction of personalized learning needs. It provides new options for classroom teaching reform using modern information technology. At present flipped classroom has become popular in China, and we need to reflect on its social background, theoretical basis, spiritual nature, as well as limitations, in order to grasp the nature and essence of flipped classroom, and apply it well in practice.
