朱生豪翻译手稿描写性研究——以《仲夏夜之梦》为例

摘　　要：本文通过定性与定量的研究方法,从词汇和句子两个层面对朱生豪《仲夏夜之梦》翻译手稿中的修改处进行统计与描写性分析,进而发掘其翻译手稿中表现出的特点并做出相应的解释。通过描写翻译学"描写-解释"的研究途径,本研究发现朱生豪翻译手稿修改处表现出其对于译文"可读性"和"可表演性"的追求,而这也是当时的社会文化背景及其个体惯习所共同影响的结果。This paper,adopting qualitative and quantitative methods,presents a statistical and descriptive analysis of the revisions at lexical and syntactic levels in Zhu Shenghao 's translation manuscripts of The Middle Summer Night's Dream. Based on the analysis,the characteristics in the translation manuscripts are also identified with corresponding explanations. Taking the 'descriptive-explanative'approach in Descriptive Translation Studies,the analysis has shown that the revisions in Zhu's translation manuscripts reveal his pursuit of 'readability 'and 'performability ',which results from the joint influences of the socio-cultural background of the historical period and Zhu's individual habitus.
