An Empirical Study on the Status and Issues of the Usage of Educational Digital Resources in Middle Schools in Shanghai: A Case in Life Science

摘  要:文章以上海市区各所中学生命科学在岗专职教师为调查对象,系统分析了数字教育资源的应用现状。通过使用Mann-WhitneyU差异检验、多元线性回归等方法,发现硬件建设已经达到较好普及,而软件配置与内容设计却显不足,减轻教学负担并不是建设数字教育资源的主要目标。统计结果还显示,职称较高的教师对数字资源提升教学效果更加乐观,而教龄在11-15年的教师对信息化的接受程度最低。初中教师的使用感受更佳,而高中教师的使用频率更高。公开课评比或学校工作要求等外部动机与教师的使用频率和感受并不相关。因此,要提升教师的使用频率和感受,应着力激发教师内在动机,转变对新技术的保守态度。面向未来发展,上海基础教育中数字资源普及现状与问题将对全国数字教育资源建设工作带来启示。This study analyzed the current status of the usage of educational digital resources by surveying the in-services middle school teachers of Life Science in Shanghai. Mann-Whitney U test and multivariable linear regression were used in the analysis of data. The results indicated that hardware for using digital resources was sufficient. However, there lacked sufficient software and the design of digital resource content. Reducing the burden of teaching and learning was not the main reason for using educational digital resources. The results also showed that teachers with higher professional ranks were more optimistic about the effects of using digital resources. The technology acceptence level of the teachers who had 11-15 years of teaching experience was the lowest. Junior high school teachers had better using experience, while senior high school teachers used digital resources more frequently. Extrinsic motivation such as open class evaluation or school requirement had no correlation with teachers" frequency and experience of using digital resources. Therefore, to increase teachers" frequency of use and enhance their using experience, it is necessary to promote the teachersj intrinsic motivation and to change their attitudes towards new technology. The results of this study will inform the future practices of developing educational digital resources in the whole country.
