摘　　要：翻译本身即是一种跨文化交际活动,翻译教学的目的在于培养学生的跨语言跨文化转换能力。调查证明学生的跨文化交际能力普遍较弱,翻译实践中跨文化转换能力尤为不足。教师应因地制宜地利用西方已发展成熟的跨文化培训方法来增长英语专业学生的中西文化知识,提高他们的跨文化交际能力,同时在翻译教学中进行教学内容和方法的革新,以培养学生的文化翻译意识和能力。Translation is a kind of cross-culture communication and translation teaching targets at improving students＇ cultural transferring ability.However,a survey proves the students＇ intercultural communication ability is low and so is their cross-cultural transferring competence.This essay suggests that using intercultural communication training methods in English teaching can help to build up students＇ bi-cultural knowledge and cross-cultural awareness in translation and calls for a change in translation teaching.
