摘 要:教师教学时间的有效投入是保障高校教育教学质量的重要前提,但对于以科研为主要使命的研究型大学来说,教师在教学上到底应投入多长时间,一直以来没有可靠的依据。根据有关国际调查和我国研究生院高校调查数据,研究发现:我国研究型大学教师的教学时间与国际平均水平相当,但其中"985工程"高校教师平均的教学时间要略低;教师用于教学准备的时间通常是课堂教学时间的1.2-2.2倍。以我国研究型大学对教师的最低教学任务要求来看,不同学科高级职称教师每周的教学时间应在10.5-13.5小时以上。An effective investment of time in teaching is regarded as a prerequisite for quality teaching at research universities. However, there has been no reliable basis for how much time should be allocated to teaching at research-oriented universities. Based on data from international and domestic surveys, the study reveals that faculty time allocated to teaching at Chinese research universities is generally equal to the international average, with the data concerning Project 985 Universities slightly lower. It is found that time devoted to teaching preparation is 1.2 to 2.2 times as much as time devoted to classroom teaching. Under the minimum teaching workload requirements, more than 10.5 to 13.5 hours per week should be devoted to teaching by professors and associate professors at Chinese research universities.
