台湾地区科技类大学的英语教学模式探索与启示

摘　　要：基于我国大陆和台湾地区的职业教育体系相似,两岸高等职业教育学生的英语学习动机相近,以及大陆高职院校与台湾的科技类大学合作办学等情况,文章对台湾科技类大学学生的英语学习特点、学习方式、公共英语课程教学情况等方面进行分析,据此提出以下建议:大陆高职院校采用差异化的"基础英语+行业英语"教学模式;提供多元化的英语学习资料和学习方式,提高学生的英语应用能力;增强自主学习能力,满足学生的个性化发展需求。The vocational teaching systems in Taiwan and China's Mainland are similar to each other.Students from higher vocational colleges in Taiwan and China's Mainland share similar English learning motivations. The higher vocational colleges in China's Mainland have close cooperation with technology universities in Taiwan. Based on the research into student＇s English learning characteristics, English learning modes, English course teaching modes etc. in technology universities in Taiwan, the paper suggests that the EGP（English for General Purposes）＋EOP（English for Occupational Purposes） teaching modes should be used and diversified English learning materials and learning ways should be provided to improve student＇s practical English competence and self-regulated learning ability, so that student＇s individualized development requests can be met.
