论《四库全书总目》之诗史观

摘　　要：《四库全书总目》一方面主张慎用以史证诗,一方面提倡以诗证史。它强调传统诗史观中的真实观念和忠君爱国观念,而忽略了诗史的讽谕美刺功能,试图抑制诗史在品评君主和议论政教方面的特质。这符合《总目》温柔敦厚的文学主张,体现了《总目》所欲维护的君臣伦理。On the one hand,GeneralCatalog of the Complete Library in the Four Branches of Literature advocates the caution in proving poetry with history.And on the other hand,it calls for the proving history with poetry.It stresses the con-cepts of truth and loyalty to emperors and patriotism in the traditional views of history and poems.However,it neglects their satire function and attempts to restrain their attributes in commenting emperors and political policies.This is in line with the soft and profound literary views of the catalog and shows the aesthetics of emperor and ministers it intends to maintain.
