摘　　要：分析比较目前中药名翻译常用的各种方法,从音译的多重优点、中医药文化的保护与弘扬等方面探讨中药名音译的必要性,并通过国内外对中药名音译的接受度的统计分析论述这一翻译方法的可行性。Transliteration is an important method in TCM translation. The necessity of transliteration in com- parison with other methods were explored from the advantages, the protection and development of TCM culture by analyzing the various methods currently used in the translation of TCM drug names, and its feasibility was stated from statistical analysis of the readers＇ acceptability at home and abroad.
