摘  要:党的十八大报告中明确指出高等教育要以质量为生命线,走内涵式发展的道路。依托内涵式发展模式,大学英语教学一定要以培养德才兼备的高素质人才为己任,利用其融贯东西的课程优势提升当代大学生的人文素质。其中,最为有效可行的途径便是通过课堂内外的文学导入提升学生的文学素养。文学导入英语课堂既能够提高学生的英语运用能力,又能激发学生的学习兴趣,并同时提高学生的审美鉴赏力。The report of the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC clearly points out that quality is the lifeline of the higher education, and the connotative development is the direction at which the higher education should proceed. Thus, college English teaching should focus on cultivating more well-educated students who are ethical and competent. The advantage of the combination of western and eastern culture enables the College English to be a platform to upgrade the humanistic quality of modem students. The most feasible way would be the introduction of literature and it can be imported both in and outside of regular teaching. The introduction of literature can enhance the learners' language competence and inspire them to study with interest. Finally and most importantly it will upgrade the college students' aesthetic appreciation and percipient.
