摘　　要：金陵大学是上世纪初由美国传教士所办的汇文、基督、益智三书院发展合并而成的综合性大学。1914年,金陵大学首设四年制农科,开中国四年制大学高等农业教育之先河。金陵大学农科以美国康乃尔大学农学院为样板,推行"教学、研究、推广"三位一体的教学体制和发展模式,开创了我国大学农业教育之新纪元。Jinling University was a comprehensive university evolved from the merging of three colleges-Huiwen,Christianity and Yizhi- founded by American missionaries. In 1914,the fouryear undergraduate program ofagricultural sciences was opened-the first agricultural undergraduate programin China. With agricultural departments of Cornell University as a model,the system of ＂teaching,research and extension＂was adopted,which ushered a new age fortheagricultural education of universities in China.
