目的论视角下中医医院简介的英译策略研究

摘　　要：英文简介是中医医院的国际名片,是吸引国际患者、促进中医药对外交流与合作的重要宣传文本。本文以翻译目的论为指导,选取北京和上海7所三甲中医医院网站的中、英文简介,对比17所美国知名医院的医院简介,分析并探讨中医医院英文简介的内容,语言和文化方面的问题,提出中医医院简介的英译策略为重构信息、归化译文和诠释文化负载语汇。Hospital profile in English language very important for the communication and cooperation is representative of the hospital＇s world image, and thus on traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）. With Skopos theo- ry as a guideline, this paper examines the translation of TCM hospital profiles by comparing the hospital pro- files of seven TCM hospitals in Beijing and Shanghai with those of 17 leading hospitals in US. The translation strategies for translating TCM hospital profiles are suggested, namely reconstructing information, domesticating translation and explaining the culture-loaded expressions.
