摘 要:对"道"的两种可能性解读:一、道是在时间上先于天地万物而在的源始的、超越的、终极的实体性存在,具有生育万物的生生不息之大用。二、道不是上述实体性存在,而是指包括人和社会在内的万事万物存在和运行的固有法则。两种解读都与以道路为其本义的道字相通,都认可道是"自然"——自成或自己如此。但前一种解读会在道与恶、道与德、自然与物等之间造成内在紧张,而后一种解读则可避免。There are two possible interpretations of Dao,one of which is that Dao is the original,transcendental,ultimate and only entity that can breed everything,the other of which is that Dao is the law which is inherently within everything and its activity. In these two interpretations,which are corresponding to road of the original meaning of the word Dao,Dao is considered what comes into being spontaneously. The former causes such conflicts as between Dao and bad,between Dao and De,between things and Spontaneity,but the latter doesn't do so.
