摘 要:英国是世界上继续教育最发达的国家之一。英国继续教育从无到有,从匮乏到充实,从分散、不正规的民间课程到系统化、制度化的体系,经历了两百多年的发展历程。如今继续教育已成为英国教育系统举足轻重的一部分,它正朝着需求导向化、职业技能化、利益相关者合作密切化的方向发展,在增强公民职业素质、培养高级技能人才等方面发挥着愈加重要的作用。The United Kingdom is one of the countries that have the most developed further education in the world. The further education of UK has come through more than 200 years of development history, which has experienced a time from sleepy to enrich, from scattered and irregular folk course to a systematic, institutionalized system. British further education has now become an important part of the British education system, it is moving towards a demand - oriented, professional and technical, and a more closely cooperation among the stakeholders. The further education is playing a more and more important role in enhancing professional quality of citizens and cultivating senior skilled people.
