楚简《老子》的出土与老子辩证美学思想的坍塌

摘  要:在《老子》中有一个非常有名的美学命题,即"天下皆知美之为美,恶已"。对于这个美学命题,学术界历来都把它视为老子辩证美学的经典表述,然严格而论,这一看法是很值得商榷的。借助这一美学命题,老子实际要表达的是人的各种美善情感、美善行为都是在其自然而然、毫不作意的情状下发生的,如果人们知其为美为善而有意为之,乃至刻意为之,那么,争竞、作伪的虚诈之恶就产生了。幸有楚简《老子》的出土,印证了老子具有辩证法思想的认识的虚假性,这才使老子这一"自然论"美学命题的真正蕴涵得到了揭示。It is a very famous aesthetics proposition in Laozithat if people all know what beauty means, ugliness will come up. This aes- thetics proposition have been regarded as the classical formulation about Laozi' s dialectical aesthetics, but Strictly speaking, this view is very questionable. With the help of this aesthetic proposition, what Laozi actually want to express is that people' s aesthetic emotion and aesthetic behavior is naturally spawned out without any intention always. If people all know what beauty means and intentionally or de- liberately pursue it, false-hearted ugliness will shows as the results of strives and falseness. Chujian Laozi was unearthed luckily and con- firmed the falsity of people' s ideological recognition about Laozi' s dialectics thought, so the real implication of Laozi' s above-named aesthetics proposition has been revealed.
