摘　　要：中国要完成从农业大国到农业强国的转变,农业现代化进程是必由之路。农业行业英语如何发挥其应有的作用是农业类高职院校正在面临的课题。从高职农业英语的定位、教学方法以及对教师能力的要求等方面进行了探讨。The course of agricultural modernization is the only way for China to complete transformation from big agricultural country to powerful agricultural country. How to play their due role in the agricultural industry is the subject that agricultural vocational colleges are facing. Orientation,teaching methods and requirement of teachers＇ ability in the agricultural English teaching of higher vocational education were discussed.
