摘　　要：化学化工专业英语是我院化学化工专业本科生的一门非常重要的专业必修课,课程注重学生英语实际运用能力的培养。文章结合专业英语课程的特点,对教学过程中常出现的问题与难点进行剖析,并结合教师的教学经验,从教材和教学内容的改革、教学模式调整和如何调动学生的学习积极性、创新师资组合和发挥教师特长、注重专业英语课程与科技文献检索课程和毕业设计环节的结合等方面进行了探索和改革,提出了一些中肯的建议。Professional English for chemistry and chemical engineering is a very important compulsory major course for undergraduates, which mainly focuses on improving the practical application capability of professional English. Based on the nature of the course and the teaching experience of the teacher, problems and difficulties appearing during teaching are carefully analyzed, and then teaching exploration reformation are carried out based the following four aspects： reformation about teaching materials and course content, adjustment on teaching methods and how to stir up students＇ initiation, innovation on teacher＇s cooperation, paying attention to the combination of bibliography searching and gradation project with professional English course, and a series of suggestions are proposed.
