古典儒家“大学之道”与当代中国大学德育

摘　　要：古典儒家"大学之道"是中国传统道德教育的主流,是中华民族最深入人心和影响深远的道德教育经典范式:以"明明德""亲民""止于至善"为价值取向;以"志于道,据于德,依于仁,游于艺"为学问宗旨;以中和位育、参赞造化为修养功夫;以"人文化成""化民易俗"为教化目的。古典儒家"大学之道"是"致广大而尽精微,极高明而道中庸"的最广义的道德教育,通自然与人文于一道,融修养与教化于一体,会生命的学问与生活的艺术于一理。当代中国大学德育的发展,迫切需要接续和弘扬古典儒家"大学之道"。The ＂way of great learning＂ of classic Confucianism has been the mainstream of tradi- tional moral education in China, and has been the most influential and impressing classical mode of moral education. The ＂way of great learning＂ focuses on the values of ＂illustrating illustrious virtue＂, ＂renovating the people＂ and ＂ending at the ultimate goodness＂, and its interest of learning is to ＂set the will on the way （dao 道）, to achieve the virtue （de 德）, to attain the humanity （ren 仁） ,and to relax in the arts （yi 艺）＂. Its methodology of cultivation is to realize the inner and outer equilibrium and harmony, so as to maintain the heaven and earth in their proper place and all things flourishing in the world. Its aim of learning is to educate the people and to purify the custom. The ＂way of great learning＂ is the most general moral education, which ＂extends this path to the furthest and brightest limits, and focuses on the neutral （zhongyong 中庸） as their way＂. It is to bring the nature and culture into one way, and to integrate cultivation and education into one body, and to meet the learning of life with the art of living together. There is a pressing need to sustain and enlarge the ＂way of great learning＂ of classic Confucianism in moral education of the contemporary university in China.
