美国梦传统价值观的式微

摘　　要：通过梳理美国的建国史,表明美国梦的形成具有深刻的历史文化渊源和建构历程。美国梦承诺人人都具有均等的机会获得成功,只要努力奋斗,都可以实现自己的个人梦想。美国梦所具有的强大吸引力实际上是基于其蕴含的个人自由、努力工作、勤俭节约等传统价值观。但是,由于美国历史文化的发展变迁及美国日益凸显的社会问题,表明了美国传统价值观产生了诸如对财富的过度追逐和过度推崇个人主义等问题,美国梦所蕴含的传统价值观正逐渐走向式微。历史与现实表明,要改变这种状况,美国梦需要进行自我反思,并对世界各国的价值观加以吸收和借鉴。The national history the United States indicates that the formation of the American Dream has profound historical and cultural origins and a long course of the construction. The American Dream commits that everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed. As long as working hard,one can realise his personal dreams. the strong appeal of the American dream has actually based on individual freedom of its inherent, hard work, thrift and other traditional values. However, the development and changes of American history lead to some cultural and social problems,which indicates that traditional American values produce over chase wealth and excessively praise individualism. Now the traditional values inherent in the American dream have been gradually declined. The historical study shows in order to change this situation,American dream needs self-reflection and to absorb and learn values from other cultures.
