摘  要:从公共教育支出规模、力度等方面分析了中国东、中、西部地区公共教育支出的区域差异,在此基础上,运用面板单位根、面板协整和面板误差修正模型等方法对中国东、中、西部地区的公共教育支出与经济增长关系进行了比较研究。实证结果表明:从长期来看,东、中、西部地区公共教育支出与经济增长具有明显的双向长期因果关系。但是,西部地区公共教育支出对经济增长的贡献程度要大于东、中部地区;就短期而言,东、中部地区只存在从经济增长到公共教育支出的单向因果关系,西部地区只存在从公共教育支出到经济增长的单向因果关系。The article firstly analyzes the regional difference, from public education expenditure scale and strength, in eastern, central and western region of China, and then using the unit root tests, co-integration tests and error correction models in panel data compares the regional difference of the relationship between public education expenditure and economic growth. The empirical results show that there is a long-run bidirectional causality between public education expenditure and economic growth in eastern, central and western region of China, although the contribution of public education expenditure to economic growth in western region is larger than that in eastern and central region. In the short run, there is just unidirectional causality running from economic growth to public education expenditure in eastern, central region, whereas there is just unidirectional causality running from public education expenditure to economic growth in western region.
