摘　　要：本文在分析目前高校外语教育中存在问题的基础上,以系统功能语言学的基本理念为指导,论证语境、语域和语篇的关系,理清语域含义,对比外语学习与母语发展,从语域出发解释高校外语教育的培养目标、教学过程、教学任务设计与教学真实性等,在系统与实例化关系中揭示语域对高校外语教育的组织作用。Firstly,this paper puts forward the problems in modern college foreign language teaching; then,based on Systemic Functional Grammar,the meaning of register is put in order based on a discussion of the relationship between context,register and text; thirdly,a contrast between first language and foreign language development is carried out from the perspective of ontogenesis; fourthly,it reveals the organizing function of register in college foreign language education from the perspectives of the goal of foreign language teaching,design of teaching tasks,process of foreign language teaching and authenticity of foreign language teaching,etc. in the relationship of system,instance and instantiation.
