摘　　要：一场旨在提高甘肃少数民族贫困地区儿童的入学率、减少教育环境不公平和师资队伍培训的中英甘肃基础教育项目(GBEP)于1999年底启动.十几年来,由此项目倡导的参与式教学法已逐步进入甘肃省临夏州和甘南州的中小学课堂,对这些地区的教育带来了重要影响.分析和研究这些地区参与式教学法的实效性,对今后这些地方民族教育的发展至关重要.The project（Gansu-British Elementary Education Program） GBEEP is started in 1999 which aims at improving the enrollment rate of school age children, decreasing the level of unfairness of education environment and training teaching staff in minority areas in Gansu province. Since then, the participatory teaching method initiated by GBEEP has been gradually introducedinto classes of the primary and secondary schools in Linxia and Gannan, Gansu province and has exerted great influence on the education in these areas. Analyzing the actual effect of this teaching methodology is very significantto the development of the ethnic education in these areas.
