摘　　要：翻译是一种跨文化的交际活动。译者必须具有一定的文化修养,在翻译过程中应充分考虑原语国家与译语国家不同的文化,将语篇放在特定的文化语境中进行理解和翻译。本文以一些翻译理论为依据,说明文化语境的重要性,并由此告勉译者在翻译过程中应重视文化语境的钻研。Translation is a kind of cross-cultural communication. Translators must have rich knowledge of culture. In the process of translation, translators should take different cultures of the SL-speaking country and TL-speaking country into consideration and translate the discourse in specific cultural context. This paper takes several translation theories as examples to show the importance of cultural context.
