中国典籍的协调英译—以英译《徐霞客游记》为例

摘　　要：由明代著名的地理学家、旅行家、文学家和爱国人士徐霞客撰写的《徐霞客游记》具有极高的文学价值和科学价值,它在世界范围内都被视为一份无比珍贵的重要地理文献!将此书翻译成英文对弘扬中国传统文化和建设社会主义核心价值观具有很大的促进作用。在翻译《徐霞客游记》一书的过程中,作者总结出典籍英译的一些翻译技巧和策略,希望它们能对从事典籍英译的人们和典籍英译爱好者有所启示。The Travels of Xu Xiake by Xu Xiake who was the great traveler,geographer and patriot in the Ming Dynasty,was of high literary and scientific value. It has been considered to be the rarest geographical book in the world. Its English translation will give impetus to the promotion of the traditional Chinese culture and the construction of Socialist Core Values. In the course of translating The Travels of Xu Xiake,the author sums up some translation techniques and strategies,which are believed beneficial to the English translators and the lover of Chinese classics.
