摘　　要：语言与文化密不可分,翻译不仅是语言的活动,更是文化传递的活动。影视媒体中的字幕翻译有着传递文化的作用,但是翻译活动会受文化差异的影响,阻碍原语的意义传达和译文的对等表述。因此,翻译工作者应弥补文化差异,趋同理解认知,从而实现两种语言在意义上的最大化等值。Language can not be separated from culture. Translation is not only a linguistic activity but also an activity of cultural transmission. The translation of subtitles in media such as films or TV serials shows the function of cultural transmission. However,translation is influenced by cultural differences, which hinders translators from transferring the original meaning in source language into suitable expressions in target language. Therefore, translators should make up for cultural differences between source and target languages,converge understandings on cognition, and realize maximized equivalence between the two languages.
