全球万家企业高管教育背景与世界一流大学的关系研究  

The Relationship between Education Background of Top Executives from 10000 Companies Worldwide and World-class Universities

摘　　要：对全球10000家企业高管的教育背景进行数据分析,结果发现:企业高管教育背景与世界一流大学的关系密切。在万家企业高管拥有的全部学位中,34%的学位来自不到全球大学总数1%的世界一流大学,62%的学位来自不到全球大学总数5%的世界知名大学。在500强企业组,高管拥有的世界一流大学和世界知名大学学位数占该组高管学位总数的比例明显高于10000强企业组。除工学领域外,企业高管在各学科领域拥有的世界一流大学学位数占本学科领域高管学位总数的比例相差不大。Based on the data analysis from 10,000 companies worldwide, the results indi- cate that there is a strong relationship between education background of top executives and world-class universities. Among all the degrees held by top executives, 34% of them are from world-class universities which accounts for less than 1% of universities worldwide, 62 % degrees are from world-known universities which accounts for less than 5% of universi- ties worldwide. Comparing with the total top executives from 10000 companies, top execu- tives from Top 500 companies ranked by annual revenues have a significantly higher percent- age of the degrees from world-class universities and world-known universities. Except for en- gineering field, there is no significant difference in the percentage of degrees from world-class universities held by top executives among disciplinary fields.
