摘　　要：英国开放大学始终扮演着扰乱者、偶尔的麻烦制造者和游戏规则改变者的角色。1969年建校时许多人并不看好开放大学,因为当时学校既没有校园,也没有讲座,最根本的是——它是一所对所有没有入学资格的学生开放的大学。事实证明,怀疑者是错的:英国开放大学的课程大量普及、具有世界一流的教学与科研质量,最重要的是,我们的学生获得了成功。现在我们再次面对开放学习的未来。仅仅有学历是不够的,学生需要在就业市场中脱颖而出,需要一系列的资格证书与实践经验。英国开放大学是欧洲第一所推出学分慕课(广受雇主欢迎的短期课程)的大学。同时,我们与毕马威会计师事务所建立创新型伙伴关系,在卫生保健、管理、数字科技等领域提供完成学位所需的实习机会。在即将迎来建校50周年来临之际,可以自豪地说,英国开放大学仍是数字创新的领头人。但是我们的事业不仅限于创新学习方式,还希望帮助人们实现他们的目标,将不可能变为可能。At The Open University we are disruptors,occasional trouble makers,game-changers.When we started out in 1969 they said it couldn＇ t be done.A university with no campus,no lectures-and most radical of all-a university which welcomed students with no qualifications whatsoever.But the sceptics and the doubters were proved wrong：by the enormous popularity of our courses,by the worldclass quality of teaching and research and most importantly,by the success of our students.Now we are once again opening up the future of learning.A degree is no longer enough.Our students need to stand out from the crowd in the job market.They need a portfolio of qualifications and experience.We are the first university in Europe to offer credit bearing MOOCs-short online courses highly sought after by employers.And we have just launched an innovative new partnership with KPMG offering degree apprenticeships in healthcare,management,and digital technology,with more on the way.As we look to our 50 th anniversary we are proud to say we are still leaders in digital innovation.But our cause goes beyond an innovative way of learning.We help anyone become someone,achieve their goals and make the impossible,possible.
