对赵健秀《杜老鸭》中“天命观”的移植和再解读

摘　　要：华裔优秀作家赵健秀在其经典后现代作品《杜老鸭》中极具艺术性地移植了儒家理念中的"天命观",再将其置于伦理基础位置来塑造出一名崇尚复仇和血腥的华裔文化英雄形象——杜老鸭。本文从萨义德旅行理论出发,分析儒家天命观思想如何跟随中国经典的脚步移居到美国,同时探究置于美国东方主义历史语境下,此种思想如何成为赵健秀作品中反叛伦理的基础因素,以及赵健秀又是如何借此重构其心目中华裔形象和身份的理想标本。Frank Chin,an outstanding Chinese American writer,artistically transplants the faith of Divine Providence in Chinese traditional Confucianism in his classical postmodern novel Donald Duk and uses it as ethical basis for his creation of Donald Duk,a Chinese American cultural hero of revenge. In light of Said＇s traveling theory,this paper analyzes how the faith of Divine Providence migrates to America,and at the same time studies how this concept becomes the basic factor of rebellious ethics in his works under the background of historical context of American Orientalism,and how he creates his ideal American Chinese image and identity with this concept.
