跨文化交际角度下网络新词的翻译

摘　　要：从分析网络新词所产生的背景入手,了解这些词的不同类型及特征,从而在尊重其个性化表达的基础上,探索有效的翻译途径和策略。主要运用功能主义翻译和跨文化交际理论来解决网络新词的英译问题。基于功能主义理论以及跨文化交际的相关理论,网络新词英译的最终目的就是要能达到信息精准无误的传送以及文化的广泛传播和融合。Intercultural communications develop with the rapidity of globalization. In this new age when new net words spring up at an increasing rate, it＇s quite necessary and important to study their translation and to understand different ways of thinking formed in various cultural backgrounds. The thesis is based on an analysis of the emergence, types and characteristics of net words. With respect for the personalized expressions, the purpose is to explore effective translation methods, to promote the adaptation and communication between different cultures, so as to achieve barrier-free cross-cultural communications. Functional translation theory and inter-cultural communication theory are used as guides. The paper makes clear the idea that the target of net words＇ translation is the accurate delivery of information and culture integration.
