文献计量学在北京大学科研管理中的应用

摘　　要：20世纪以来,科学文献呈几何级数增长,通过阅读文献来把握所有学科方向的发展态势已经几无可能,因而提出了文献计量学。这种方法用来对学科发展方向进行定量描述。对于综合性大学的科研管理而言,文献计量学的使用尤为重要。本文系统阐述了文献计量学在北京大学科研管理中的实践应用,讨论了它在分析科研发展态势、评估学科发展状况和评价引进人才等方面的优缺点。Since the beginning of 20 century, the scientific research papers had increased in an exponential way so that the disciplinary development could not be characterized simply through literature review. Bibliometric has been developed as an independent scientific field because it could deliver the quantitative description indexes on the different fields. In the present work, the application of the bibliometrical method in the management of scientific research in Peking University is reviewed, and the advantages and disadvantages of the bibliometrical method in the characterization of the university/disciplinary development and evaluation of the talents introduction program are discussed.
