基于大规模汉英平行语料库的“使”字句英译方法探讨

摘　　要：作为汉语中最典型、最常用的致使结构,"使"字句是汉英翻译中必然会碰到的难点之一。本文通过组建大规模、高质量的汉英双语平行语料库,随机抽取了1000个"使"字句句对,组建"使"字句专题语料库,进而分析、梳理和总结"使"字句及其译文的特点,提出"使"字句的具体翻译方法,帮助提高英语学习者"使"字句翻译的准确率和地道性。As a typical and most frequently-used causative structure in Chinese,Shi sentences are one of the most difficult structures to deal with in Chinese to English(C-E) translation. The present study compiles a specific corpus of Shi sentences by randomly selecting 1000 pairs of Shi sentences from a large-scale high-quality C-E parallel corpus. The study classified and analyzed the sentence pairs in detail,found their characteristics,and came up with detailed methods for the translation of Shi sentences,so as to help English learners improve translation accuracy of Shi sentences and produce native-like causative structures in English.
