论孟子的担当精神

摘　　要：担当作为动词比责任更具主动性,与人的生活实践紧密相连。孟子的担当精神是以四端之心为逻辑起点,以善良本心为人存在的本体。道德担当强调"为己"、"为他"和"为天",政治担当强调"以民为本"的行政担当、"在其位谋其政"的职责担当、"虽千万人,吾往矣"的义勇担当以及"守望相助"的国际担当,文化担当强调"知言"的文化自觉、"正人心,息邪说,承三圣"的文化自信以及"尽信《书》不如无《书》"的文化创新。孟子的这种为他者、为天下的主动担当精神在当代具有启发意义。The Chinese verb ＂dandang＂ is active than the noun ＂zeren＂. Mencius＇ spirit of closely connected with people＇s life practice, which is more taking responsibility started from the point of a heart of sym- pathy, a sense of shame, modesty and righteousness which is the ontological existence of human beings. Men- cius proposed undertaking moral responsibility for self, for others, and for the Heaven; political responsibility for people, for duty, for courage out of justice and for the world under the Heaven; cultural responsibility for cultural self-consciousness out of knowing man＇s words, cultural self-confidence of Confucianism and cultural innovation through challenging. Mencius＇ spirit of taking responsibility has thrown some enlightenments for the contemporary world.
