中国语文现代化的回顾与展望

摘　　要：中国语文现代化就是中国在现代化时期的语文建设 ,核心是现代化时期的语文改革。中国语文现代化兴起于 1 9世纪末 ,延续至今已经有一百多年的历史。一百多年的语文改革改变了中国语文的落后面貌 ,促进了中国教育的发展 ,为中国社会的进步作出了贡献。展望 2 1世纪的中国语文现代化 ,主要要解决好以下几个问题 :1 .普及现代汉民族共同语——普通话。 2 .发展言文一致的现代白话文。 3 .推行现代汉字的“四定”,实现汉字的简易化。 4.充分发挥汉语拼音的作用。 5 .提高英语的水平。 6.促进语文教育的现代化。 7.促进语文技术的现代化。中国的语文现代化从一开始就受到保守势力和复古思潮的阻挠 ,但是它们最终都不能改变中国语文的前进方向。The Modernization of the Chinese language is a language re construction in the period of Chinas modernization, its core being the language reform. The modernization of the Chinese language started by the end of the 19 th century and lasted for more then one handred years. The language reform during the last hundred years has changed the backwardness of the Chinese language and brought about a great advance in Chinas education, thus making great contribution to the progress of the Chinese society. Looking ahead the language modernization in the 21st century, we are going to work out solutions for the following problems:1. to popularize the Putonghua (Common spoken Chinese); 2. to develop the modern vernacular and achieve the identify between the written and oral Chinese; 3. to carry out the '4 fixings' of the modern Chinese characters and further simplify the Chinese characters; 4.to give the full play to the phoneticization of the Chinese language; 5. to raise the level of English in China; 6.to promote the modernization of the language education; 7.to promote the modernization of the language techniques. The modernization of the Chinese language has been once obstructed from the beginning by the consevative force and the trend of thoughts of returning to the ancients, but they can never change the direction of development of the Chinese language.
