平等原则与动物权利的赋予——汤姆·雷根动物权利研究批判

摘　　要：正义意味着"应得",要求类似情况类似对待。权利是有效的道德要求,这是雷根选择权利论的根本原因。在雷根看来,动物与人类一样,拥有在道德上具有意义的类似情况:生命主体。我们认为,平等是一定范围内的,类似情况只有在一定范围内才能够作为平等对待的基础。因此,跨物种的平等对待是不适宜的,物种主义具有合理性。Justice means that ＂ deserve it＂,which demands similar treatment in similar situation. Rights are effective moral requirements,which is the fundamental cause of Tom Regan＇s selects rights thesis. In Regan＇s opinion,animals have similar moral significance as human beings. The similarity is that they are both subjects-of-a-life. We believe that equality is within certain limits,and similarities can be as the basis of equality only within certain limits. Hence equality across the species is not appropriate,and speciesism is reasonable.
