摘　　要：高级英语课程是英语专业高年级学生的一门主干课程,其课程目标是培养学生自主学习以及终身学习的能力。该课程具有宽阔的知识面和深厚的文化底蕴,有助于培养学生的语篇意识、文体意识以及文化意识,并相应地提高了学生的文学鉴赏能力及跨文化交际能力。本文笔者基于近几年的高级英语课程教学经验总结并探索该课程的教学方法。Advanced English is a main course of junior students in English major. Its teaching aim is to develop students＇ ability to study by themselves. The course has broad knowledge and deep cultural background, which helps to cultivate students＇ discourse consciousness, style consciousness and cultural consciousness, and improve students＇ literary appreciation ability and intercul- tural communication ability accordingly. In this paper, the author summarizes and explores the teaching methods of the course based on the teaching experience of Advanced English in recent years.
