摘　　要：当商务英语专业在全国本科院校普遍开设之时,避免千人一面的同质化办学倾向已经成为每位商务英语专业负责人,甚至每位英语专业教师,必须认真思考的问题.广州航海学院自获批开设商务英语专业之日起就一直在探索建设具有航运特色商务英语专业的途径.实践表明,充分利用本校优质资源,加强特色课程建设和师资队伍建设是彰显商务英语专业特色的有效途径.More and more universities are offering Business English Program for undergraduates. However,it poses a serious problem for those in charge of Business English Programs, even for every Business English teacher as how to avoid homogeneous curriculum. Guangzhou Maritime University has been exploring constructive models of shipping-oriented Business English Program upon approval by the Ministry of Education to offer the program. Practice indicates that making best use of university resources, enhancing the construction of featured courses and the teaching staff are effective ways to develop a featured Business English Program.
