摘  要:听、说、读、写是英语学习的四项基本技能,有关每项基本技能的研究不胜枚举。历经多年的探索和实践,我国英语学习者的说、写能力有了较大提高,但现状仍不容乐观,提高学生的英语口语能力和写作能力依然是当务之急。本文尝试利用Free talk,结合过程教学法,探讨提高学生写作能力的途径,即说写结合,以说促写,在锻炼学生口语表达能力的同时,提高学生审题、立意、选材和谋篇布局的能力,以期提升学生的英语写作能力及综合素质。Listening, speaking, reading and writing are the four basic skills of English learning, and there were too numerous studies conducted on each skill. After many years of exploration and practice, Chinese English learners' abilities of speaking and writing have been improved greatly, but the current situation is still not optimistic and it is very urgent to improve students' oral English and writing ability. The thesis, by making use of Free talk combined with Process Approach, tries to explore the ways of improving students' writing ability, that is, combining speaking and writing to improve the writing ability. Along with the improvement of oral English goes the improvement of students' abilities of topic analysis, stand taking, material selection and overall planning, in the hope of improving students' writing ability and comprehensive quality.
