摘 要:永安二年造像碑为北魏后期佛教兴盛的产物。流失海外后于1923年入藏美国波士顿美术馆。该造像碑上刊刻的佛本行、佛因缘故事,反映当时佛教信仰特点。佛教造像是佛法的方便道,目的是为了证实佛教真谛,造像碑上的高跷、幢伎雕刻,不可能是普通的百戏娱乐画面,而是将当时庙堂礼乐纳入到敬佛礼乐的写照。造像图案和题记所处位置与排列顺序均以居中为尊,左右对称,是中国传统礼制观念的缩影,由一区造像碑可以看出当时邑义组织中的不同身份和严格的等级差异。This paper investigates the stories of Buddha's life and the cause and effect of Buddhist stele based on the analysis of a stele stored at the Boston Fine Art Museum. In general, the stele reflects the characteristics of Buddhist conviction and the purpose of publicizing Buddhist theology during that time. The author argues that the iconography of the so-called acrobatics on the stele was not for entertaining pro'pose. Instead, the scene demonstrated musical and dancing performance that used for courteous reception in the Southern and Northern dynasty was employed as a way of Buddha worship. Also, the most important votive figures and inscriptions were carved in the middle part of the stele, while other less important elements were symmetrically carved on the left and right sides. This layout fully embodies the traditional ritual idea in China. Finally, the position and order of votive figures and inscriptions on the stele also shows status differentiation and hierarchy in Buddhist institutions.
